Well, you shouldn't have to use a soldering iron - the jumper block should
pull right off (II assume you refer to the jumper block which has a white arrow
on it pointing either to the word "Printer" or "Modem" on the board, and
wherever it is pointing now, you want it pointing the other way)... Just pull
it straight upward and it should come out of its socket, and you can then
turn it around. If this doesn't happen, then you have some kind of problem
with the board, and I'd bring it to an Apple dealer and have it looked at... :)
