I agree, splitting the newsgroup up would not lead to anything positive, in
my view. In fact, for me it would be a disaster as we would most certainly
not carry the new groups. It was hard enough getting comp.sys.apple2, which
was one of the reasons( amongst others, including one very important one) that
I was opposed to changing the original comp.sys.apple name. That was a
terrible mistake.
