Upgrade a //c ?

I recently purchased an Apple //c system from my brother. He bought
the system in 1984, so it is a VERY early model. I attended a local users
group meeting with some friends, but none of the gurus at the meeting could
help me. Is there anyone out there who can help me ?
	1. Can the //c memory be upgraded? I realize that that was never
Apple's intent with THIS system, but CAN it be done? If so, how much work
is involved? (hardware and software).
	2. Is there anyway to connect a hard drive to the //c? I was able
to aquire a couple of old Seagate ST-125 drives (MFM) and was wondering if
it was possible to use one on this system. I don't really care if it will
involve old technology (SCSI/SASI) as that is all my budget allows anyway.

Any help on these items will be greatly appreciated.

	Jim.--
