|es, I should have been more clear. You can't change the positions
of the device icons on the desktop the way you can change the position
of the trash icon. Like I said, the device icons are hard coded,
while the position of the trash icon is in a resource, as documented.

(_,ood luck finding those hard coded locations. I have better
things to do than go looking for them, and I have ideas for another
way to change those default locations, without requiring any changes
to Finder itself. If you do find them, I'd quite appreciate being
told what they are, though!
