The IIGS image enhancement program Second Chance (by Raptor) does very nice 
color 320-greyscale320 and 320-640 conversions.  I believe they also sell a
program that JUST has those conversions for around $10...if I remember 
correctly it's called X2.  Don't have an address/phone # handy, but I 
think Resource Central has both programs and I know Raptor has advertised
in the past several issues of GS+.

If only Second Chance were rewritten in optimized assembly....
