Re: Western design chip



I thought the E on the WDC-65816-PL was the hexidecimal number for 14.. :)  No
where on the chip does it say "14", so I guessed the E was for 14.. :)

The Zip upgrade works great, you just pop in a new oscillator (~$3.50), the
Sram cache (~$45.00) and the processor ($95.00)..

on a Zip, 12.5mhz is almost a given, and I haven't tried 14 yet, Digikey
was out of the faster oscilators (50mhz were the highest..)
