Is anybody out there having problems using a 65802 inside a //e inplace of the
65C02? I'm having trouble using the 65802 and running an old (OLD) Rana Elite
5 meg hard drive. I've tried using a 65816 (since there was talk of this
earlier) but I had the sam problem with it.
The hard drive has a card with ROM and RAM on it. In $C800-CFFF, the banks
$CC00-CFFF are used for ROM, and the other 1k can select either another ROM or
up to 7 1k RAM by reading $c0f8-c0ff (when the card is in slot 7). The problem
is that the demultiplexer is getting the wrong lower three bits and is
selecting the wrong set of RAM or ROM.
On another note, I noticed that the //e board has four silver(?) contacts on
the lower left-hand corner. Can I use these to power a logic probe? In other
words, does anybody know the signals or purpose of these contact?
Thanks ahead of time
