I think sampsa was responding to the OP's vague, repeated, disingenuous 
questions on the same topic, for which progress is never apparent. All 
of the OP's threads, here and elsewhere, evince earnest attempts to 
help; none seem effective. I'd be happy to learn of an exception.

LOL. I had the same view of Windows until it became a Mac application 
under VirtualBox: <http://www.virtualbox.org/>. We may already be 
virtual: <http://www.crystalinks.com/holographic.html>

FWIW, the OP did say "command line." The Sun JRE installer isn't too 
bad, even on a system from a Java-hostile vendor.
