Version 1.3 *is* the latest version.  Hate to tell you this, but the
Editor hasn't changed much since version 1.0.  (Well, okay, 1.1.  I
never really used 1.0).  The editor has its peculiarities, but it is
also quite powerful in some ways.  (I kinda' like it for some things
but not for others.)  If you really want another, then write one!
