And, it sounds like you have FTP access, so why don't you try wuarchive?
Look under /usenet/comp.binaries.apple2/Articles or something like that.
I know that the last dircetory is Articles and it is a fairly obvious
path.  You then get a file called Index (note the capital I), if you leave
off the .Z, wuarchive will decompress it for you.  At your machine, scan
through the Index and look for the appropriate 'Subjects' and write down
the numbers on the left hand side.  Go back to the wuarchive directory
and get the numbers that you want.  wuarchive.wustl.edu tends to keep the
stuff for about 3-4 months I would guess, if not longer.
