System Saver GS on the blink

I've seen posts on here before about problem with the Kensington System Savers,
so maybe someone can help.  The other day, the master switch no longer provided
power when I pushed it on.  It didn't light up and the fan didn't spin, but 
it was plugged in and the Aux switch worked.  So, I took it apart to see if
I could spot any loose wires, but everything looked ok, and when I plugged it
in with it apart, it worked again.  Then, of course, after I get it put back
together, it worked for the rest of that day, but then the next day it was not
working again.  

My guess is that it is the switch itself that is bad.  
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Any advice would be appreciated.
