GraphicWriter III problems

I have been having trouble importing and exporting text to and from GW III
documents.  I have some appleworks documents (ie 10 pages).  If I create a GW
III document with up to 30 linked pages, the AppleWorks file is not making it.
One page will go fine though.  Also, exporting universal text is a problem.
I have a three page document of linked pages (two columns per page).  When I
export, I get the same first few paragraphs over and over.  What's the deal?
