The only "real" DTP program for the IIe that comes to my mind is PublishIt! 4. 
You'll need a 128kB-IIe/IIc and a mouse/joystick. But it is a commercial
program. Another choice would be AppleWorks with some Timeout utils 
(commercial, too) for the graphics (You want text with included graphics, don't
you). 
Hmm, does AppleWriter 2.1 (freeware!) allow to use graphics ? Who knowns about
that ?
