I am serious considering purchasing a large capicity IDE HD and TurboIDE
card for my GS. However, I have a couple of queries
a) Are there external cases availible for IDE drives?
b) Can an IDE drive be placed in the Pegaus internal HD case and Power
supply?
c) If none of the above are possible, what about placing the HD and my
GS and perhaps, 2 Apple 3.5 and 5.25" disk drives into an IBM case
and use the IBM Power supply?
d) Can I place the larger IDE drive into my current AI InnerDrive and
replace the controller with the TurboIDE?
I am also interested in good prices for say 100 - 200 meg IDE HD compared to
similar sized SCSI.
Also, any one here in OZ interested in organising a bulk purchase order of
both drives and cards in order to reduce cost?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may give!
