Well, you can still buy the GS, just not direct from Apple.  Other places
still have new ones in stock, and motherboards don't really wear out.  (I
have a 1979 Apple II, for exxample)

About the LC Transwarp: It is my impression that you can  not have both
the IIe card and Transwarp.
