Another alternative...

If you don't mind the long distance charges, you might
try calling byteworks via land-line (traditional phone call).

I did this once and actually talked to Mike Westerfield.
I asked about Orca/M for the 8 bit Apple and I was asked to
hold and there I was talking to the author.

Now don't ya'll go tying up their phone lines.  You know they
got mighty important work to do.
