: Hi..
: I'm getting a PC Transporter for Christmas, and I have a few questions for
: anyone who has one....
: 1: Is the AEPC RAM disk automatically accessible from the Finder?
Yes. Once you add the AEPC.DISKS stuff to your ProDOS then it will
show up. It will be called RAMAEPC.
: 2: Has anyone designed a joystick driver for it?
No! If you ever figure out how to right any driver at all give
me a call. I think AE made it a trade secret or something.
: 3: Any reccomendations for which slot to place it in? My current config is:
: 1: Printer Port
: 2: <switchable> Modem port/Sonic Blaster
: 3: Transwarp GS (can also go in slot 4 if needed..)
: 4: Vulcan HD controller (can go in any slot, it is pseudo-slotted to slot 7)
: 5: SmartPort
: 6: SCSI controller card
: 7: Pseudo-slotted HD card (See slot 4)
: As you can see, I am running out of slots. I have been messing with different
: configs, so far I have no idea where to put the card. I have seen reccomendations to put it in slot 4, but I want to use my mouse in DOS.
I guess you are running out of slots! Hmmm..... One consolation is
that I haven't found much use for a mouse using the PCT. Anything that
uses the mouse that really needs it is real slow anyways. It would take
someone better then me to figure that one out.
Allright.
Who's better...:-)
