Recently someone mentioned a problem running Apple Oasis in Vista. I
don't recall if it was ever answered. It turns out this is an easy fix.
Short answer, decrease the border padding size around the window frame.
While there may be other ways to do this fix, here is the method I came
up with.
First, go to control panel. Select the personalization icon. Select
'Theme' which opens the old style theme window. Select Windows Classic
theme in the drop down list. Close the Theme settings window. Then
select the 'Window Color and Appearance' option. Now select the Windows
Aero color scheme from the list. Click the advanced button. Select
Border Padding from item: list-box and set it to 0. Once you accept this
then click apply and close any open windows. Execute Apple Oasis to
verify everything works.
Please note this worked for me in Vista Home Premium. YMMV!
Cheers,
Mike T
