Hmmm, all I have to say are two things:
1) I never trusted/liked Sculley and it looks like I dont have to
start now. (somethign he said about only being run by stockholders
sounds like a cop out excuse to me) As someone mentioned in that post,
the CEO DOES have power to "shape" the direction of the company. Besides,
I bet the shareholders with Macs arent smart enough to know what an Apple
II is to say to Sculley to drop it.
2) My next machine WILL be a 486, or if I am lucky, a Sun. I will
never purchase a Mac and any recommendations I make to friends will
have a definite bias towards PC's. This is based not only in my anger
at what Apple Co did to the II, but in a firm belief that PC's ARE
better than Macs.
