If inCider's reviews are out of date, it's for a good reason. Unlike this
medium, where you post something and the whole world reads it within a day
or two, inCider has a very long lead time. On 12/8/92, I submitted my
Grapevine column for the March, 1993 issue.
At the time I write and submit my columns, reviews or features, the
information is accurate. I certainly can't mention an update that comes out
a month or two after I've written my article, even if that update comes out
before the magazine is in the hands of readers.
On the other hand, I'm also not responsible when the words I submit are
technically accurate, and some editor changes the words on me. As an
example, in the 1/93 issue, in my article on souping up System 6, I never
wrote that the MS-DOS FST that's expected with the System 6.0.1 update was
going to be read/write. But, when you see that article, you'll notice that
it says the FST is going to be read/write.
So sue me...
