Get the Learn To Program series from Byteworks. I hear it has all you want
and more. Not exactly cheap, but it would be a great ref for a beginning
programmer.

Look in the TBRs (TBR1, I believe). That will explain it all you want, but
basically, the extra chars are for key equivs and item seperation and other
stuff.
