Pascal on a II+

OK folks, here's the scenario:  I've got a friend with what is
essentially a bare II+.  He doesn't want to spend a lot of money
on it, but he would like to try programming some pascal (obviously
nothing commercial, just wants to fool around).

Question:  Which of the 8-bit Pascals can he use, and what hardware
does he need to use it?  I think his only card is the diskII
controller.  No lowercase ROM.  No 80col card.

There's lots of stuff he _could_ have, but what does he _need_?

Anyone out there with the appropriate hardware/software for sale?
