The convention with %1011xx11 is one adopted by third parties who have
auxiliary-slot cards lots bigger than 64K, it's supposed to tell those
who know how to look that you don't have to disconnect the device to use
the auxiliary 64K.  Because it's a third-party convention, there's not
real hard documentation available.

If you find /RAM and it doesn't use one of those unit numbers, the only
safe thing to do is disconnect it before using the alternate 64K.
