It ignores the caching capabilities. I needled him about that say one year ago,
but he would not listen. I was, I have to admit, ignorant of his temper :)

That's not possible for him, or at least only with a lot of effort and the
GS/OS driver loaded. Even then I am not entirely sure it can be done. It is
for sure not very feasible. The problem is: How is the RF to know what's a
directory block and what is not? No, really, such things are best left to the
OS. I think the RF should support GS/OS caching.
