Unenhanced IIe Roms...

Ok Apple II Hardware Hackers...I need your help!  =-)

I have a IIe that I've been using for quite some time and am happy
with.  I also have a IIe which I got for free from a guy who couldn't
get it to work.  Upon opening the case, when I got it home, I 
discovered quite quickly it's problem:  NO ROMS.  It's missing the
CD, EF and character generator ROMs.  My guess is someone cannibalized
it and then sold it to the poor fool I got it from.  Oh well...

I do not care if it has enhanced or unenhanced ROMs.  It has a 6502
so it wasn't enhanced originally.  But I don't want to pay high
prices for the darned things.  SO....

Got out the handy dandy eprom programmer, two 2764s and a 2716 and
did a copy of the ROMs out of my IIe.  Put the eproms into my IIe
to test them....no go...

The CD rom is a a 2764 eprom so that should be ok.  A friend said
that he's made eproms of the character generator ROM out of 2716 and
that they're pin compatible.  The only real suspect is the EF rom
which is some mask programmed guy.

Can someone tell me, as I have no access to hardware reference,
whether the CD, EF and char gen ROMs are pin compatible with 2764s
and the 2716 respectively.  And if not, what adaptor socket I'd
need to make?
