problems with sys 6

I have an Apple2GS with 2Megs and a hard drive.  I recently installed
system 6 on my hard drive.  Everything seems to be working fine
except when i quit (open-apple q) out of Katies Farm.  I get back to
the finder but some of my windows are messed up.  It looks like random
bits of the screen are missing.  I can move the mouse but nothing
happens when I click on anything.  I tried a reset and everything looks
fine after it boots back up but the mouse still does not work.  I end
up power cycling the machine to clear it out.  Has anyone else seen this
problem?  Does anyone know how to fix it?  I reloaded Katies Farm onto
my hard drive from the original disks but it still does this.
