Re: Copy on A2 Classic games?
In an effort to get more old Apple II classic software re-released as public
domain, freeware or shareware, my inCider "Shareware Solutions" column for
the February, 1993 issue is devoted to formerly commercial software that is
now public domain, freeware or shareware.
I mention in that article that Tim Tobin is the coordinator of GEnie's A2
Lost Classics Project, as that project has already been successful in
getting Paul Lutus to re-release AppleWriter as freeware. In fact, Mr Lutus
has additionally agreed to re-release GraFORTH as freeware, and also will
soon be making Electric Duet available as freeware. Tim Tobin has also
contacted another very well known Apple II programmer from the early days
and has secured some more freeware that'll knock your socks off when you
hear the name of the programmer and the software (including source code)
that will soon be re-released as freeware.
If anyone reading this holds a copyright on any other Apple II Lost
Classics, please contact Tim Tobin on GEnie, or contact me. I have agreed to
assist the Lost Classic Project in any way I can.
