ProDOS 8 Disk full problem

Has anyone else seen a false disk full problem under ProDOS 8? It occurs
when writing to a file on a disk that is nowhere near full, and leaves
the file on disk containing only the first 256 or 512 bytes that were
being written. I've seen this problem in all the later versions of ProDOS
8, up to 2.0.1, but I cannot duplicate the problem at will.

If you have seen this problem, please let me know the circumstances.
Currently, I have seen the error occur in Warp Six BBS and ProTERM 3.0.
The error code in BASIC is 9.
