Re: Doubling up BIN files to burn to EPROM

I need to burn an .bin file to an EPROM, and I was told it needs to be burnt to a 27128 EPROM, however I don't have any at this size. I do have a large pile of 27256's which I believe are pin compatible.

My question is simple. How can I double up the .bin file so that I can
burn it to 27256 instead of a 27128.

The simplest way to use the 27256 as a 27128 is to pull up Pin-27 (A14) and it IS technically a 27128. I have done this many times.
