Since nobody has mentioned it, let me point out, that there is a 'Huge White Elephant in the room'. The Carte Blanche failed to perform, or even attempt to operate at Kfest. There has been no news or updates on the 'technical' problem that was encountered. I, for one, was looking forward to this card and the possible options that it would bring to the Apple II world. I would think an update every so often would ease the potential buyers indecision's about making a $200+ investment.
You are not alone, James. I, also, am very concerned, and have toyed with the idea of backing out once more. I had, at first, ordered 2 cards, then backed out of 1 of them, then the other, and when others backed out, I reordered the 1 card. Now, after having heard about the failure at KFest, and no other infomation coming across, I am very tempted to keep my money.
