commodore telnet server and other 8bits bbs will it work w/apple2

perhaps this is old news to folks on here or there is an equiv program for
apple 2 tricks of this sort but it trip'd over the following

commodore telnet bbs server 1.2 it allows an old bbs with an serial
connection to get on the internet via a windows based server app on a
internet capable machine..

here is the link

http://www.jammingsignal.com/files/BBS%20Server%201.2%20Manual.pdf

perhaps it is nothing new like the terry olsen bbs server program with the
boycott bbs i simply post it here because it says it works with other 8bit
bbs pkgs/machines so i assume that would include an old apple 2 bbs to make
it telnetable...and when reading thru it if you replaced the word
"commodore" with "apple2" it supposedly would meet my needs

anyway..its prob old hat if i'm behind the times and something equiv to an
old apple 2 bbs in this function is around please post a link (including the
boycott one if it is the same tweak in an apple 2 flavor)

anyway...for all i know there is a way to just take the old fv/metal 4.0xev
gonzo bbs on the gs or the old apple 2 tpro 4.2f bbs pkg from back in the
day

run some windows ap2 emulator magic and have it run as a virtual machine to
get the same 1 at a time telnetable old school stuff up....as it used to
work 1 at a time via modem

(i'm soooo..out of the loop)

other topics in the future will include "carte blache" card which has me
utterly befuddled on some aspects

anyway thanks for catching me up in advance
