I finally found my EPROMs box and the only Vulcan one there is a

When I was looking for replacement drives I went by places that did a
lot of PC upgrading but even then most places didn't keep much in the
way of small drives around as there was really no market for them.
Still I did get find a couple of spares. Around here now it'd be
really hard finding many drives under 1gb. But you can still get
lucky. A little while ago I ended up with a bunch of "new" Mac stuff
that was cluttering up a Mac dealers parts room. One item was a 20mb
SCSI hard drive still sealed in the box. Not sure what to do with that
as I prefer larger drives even on the II+.

I found a place that sells most of the drives on that list, but they
are a
bit insane on their prices for certain drives.

Suppliers like this cater to folks (usually business or government)
who feel they must have an exact replacement for a failed drive.

As a result, they find that they can pretty much charge whatever
they like... ;-(

Another example is replacing an old proprietary power supply, the
generic equivalent of which is <$30, for $150+!
