Not quite the kind of solution you were asking, but how I now work under
OSX is to write and edit the code in BBEdit or TextWrangler, which gives
me access to the powerful editing tools in those, and then transfer the
source code through a shared disk image to the Orca environment in my
emulated IIgs in Sweet16.
This gives me the power of a dedicated word processor on the Mac side,
with the speed of a fast emulated assembler on the IIgs.
