Hi Jeff,
I have a real GS too and have tried both games (though its an
accelerated GS). I got the laptops as i wanted something to play with
if away etc or if i just wanted a quick play on something the
emulators would be put to use rather than getting GS out and powering
it up.
The problem isn't down to the GS being too slow and not able to play
the games full speed but more that the sound actually slows down
(along with the emu) which isn't normal. Unfortunatley once i find a
problem i really hate leaving it and have to find out why...
I played with some kexts for the netbook (1.6ghz Intel Atom) today to
improve speedstep support and first impressions is that it might have
helped (still saw some sound/emu slowdown but seemed less so). Its
possible that the Pismo being 400Mhz just isn't quick enough for
Sweet16 and hence i saw the issue on that as well. Maybe 2.0b18 will
be better on the pismo with the G3 support is added.
Cheers
Drew
