Historically, Apple have a somewhat curious pricing strategy, starting with the "satanist" price of the apple I, whose seems that actually was because there was three people involved (the two steves and the owner of the computer store) and the infamous $666.66 price was to "get a neat sharing of the money" (that was, $222,22 each)
