If you're just pathologically curious, then go ahead...
But there is no real justification for 64-bit mode in any likely
PC application, and so you are choosing to be an early adopter
of 1) new hardware, 2) new versions of applications (and *no*
version of many older apps), and 3) new, often non-existant,
always less tested, versions of device drivers.
It's a royal pain that is completely optional--all downside
and practically no upside.
It's up to you...
