Hi group...

I have a IIc+ that I'm going to post on eBay, but I'd like to overclock
it first (it has an "A" mobo with an NCR ASIC).

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get a faster
oscillator for this? Any recommended manufacturer or speed?

Thanks!

From my testing on this subject, 8Mhz (32Mhz crystal) seems to be the
most stable.
Check the post I did on A2Central about motherboard Rev and ASIC
chips.

Don't forget to solder a socket on the board to make installing/
removing/changing the crystal easier.

Thanks for the reply John. This is the article I used to ID my mobo as "A". :)
