How? Fair? they bid more. It's an 'auction', they bid more. What do
you not understand? They bid more. Period. Simple. Or lets put it
another way, you didn't bid enough.

The seller got cheated? How? they got more than you bid. The seller
got more money than they were just about to 18 nanoseconds earlier.

Faster than when the car behind you, in NYC will honk, bids change.
