Funny how that happens. I get the same thing on occasion. I was
visiting my parents in Wisconsin and stopped over at the UW Surplus
shop. Found a IIe with a echo card, 1megabyte Apple RAM and an Apple
mouse card for $10. When I went to the counter to pay for it, she
asked me how much the type writer cost. Aiee!
I'm totally bummed that this UDC short card seems to be dead. Think I
will swap out the caps as they do look a bit iffy. That has helped in
the past to bring all sorts of things back to life.
Really want to be able to use the Apple 3.5" drives on the IIe besides
the one Liron Unidisk I have.
Sucks that the source for the SWIM chips (which I don't even know what
those are) are trying to kill him on price.
