Having an odd problem running Program Writer on a //c+.

The program is responding as if the option key is continually pressed
down. Not getting that behavior with other programs.

Can anyone else confirm if they have that issue or is it local to my
machine? The program docs state it is //c+ compatible.

Glenn

Well, the //c+ was my primary machine for at least a year when I
worked at Beagle Bros doing tech support. I used Program Writer pretty
regularly on it, and I don't recall any problems like that on it.

Perhaps you should track down another Program Writer image?

Hi Warren, good suggestion _ I was still using my original diskette, perhaps there was a newer version at some point.

Well I figured it out ... I had put an 8" extension on the keyboard cable so I could have it out side the case .. Seems the like Program Writer was sensitive to that.

The Option key line on your extension is shorted or open (I don't have
my diagrams at the moment).
