Ditto for me likewise.  Sounds like our experiences and explanations
were very similar.

BTW, he did mention that it only recently came to his attention that
there was interest in his software and that he would have released CP
into the public domain a long time ago if it wasn't for some hurdles
that needed to be dealt with.  So this is good progress.
