I thought I had mentioned this before: the price is $200. This will
include a board
populated with a XC3S250E FPGA that is big enough to put all of Apple

inside including the CPU twice, 256K of fast SRAM and configuration
PROM.
Connectors for NB2 peripheral module, VGA, IDE and MMC/SD.
The main purpose is to provide a universal platform to make virtually
any
Apple peripheral. The IDE connector can be used as a general purpose I/
O
to plug in the user's extension with a simple 0.1" pitch connector or
to
emulate the CFFA interface.
The board will be pre-loaded with logic to provide text and graphics
output to
a VGA display plus a mass storage device. All open source.
Looks like we have reached a critical mass for a nice fancy board
with
silkscreens on both sides that Steve likes :) The production cycle
will
likely take about a month.
