I've been scouring the net and I simply can't find a copy of any non-demo version of proterm. Perhaps it's time the policy against sharing it was repealed?

Absolutely agree especially since it was declared as free and the community was charged with supporting it. I have webspace especially for freeware so I will step-up and provide part of that support by providing a download service.

I can register www.proterm.ca or www.proterm.net and both are available but will probably just put up a proterm page on my Aztec C Site. I don't want to put it on my Apple site because I don't want to affect my Apple II Web Ring status.

Failing that, does anybody know whether the demo can be cracked to allow file saving or is it missing the actual functionality?

Probably not necessary. I'll let you know soon. Soory about my harsh words on this in the past. After talking to Jerry Kline last year, I actually thought something was going to happen on this.

I would really be careful about both setting up a site under the ProTERM name; which is a registered trademark and ProTERM because as of this date it appears that the program is st ill owned by the copyright holder and has not been released into the pubic domain. You maybe in Canada, but you in this case could be subject to legal actions. Years ago I took action against a web site in Canada that allowed D/L of GBBS, first I had his site shut down then took legal action against him using the Software Publishers Association.

Just wait until the project is ready to go, also it appears that Tony will be the one making it available, so putting it up on another site still could cause legal problems, free or not it is still owned by someone/
