This would have been a natural addition to a Z-RAM XII...so IIc and IIc+ (and IIc++ ;-) owners could have a meg of RAM, a clock/calendar, a Z-80, and a CFFA, all on one card. Probably someone would also like an ethernet adapter, but I'd be happy just with an easily removable CF or SD card. ;-)
Given the "portable" nature of the IIc, I'd say wifi might be in order... but I too would be quite content with just the CF/SD... even if it isn't easily removable.
I suppose given the technology available these days and the cost of production, it wouldn't really make sense to build a single-purpose board when you could have everything but the kitchen sink added and likely still keep it reasonably priced.
