Apple II Software Sources

A lifetime ago I owned an Apple II and hundreds of floppy disks of
software.

I recently picked up an old IIe and got it interfaced to my PC.

Now I'm looking for software for it. I'm aware of the usual sources
like Caltech, UMichigan, Asimov, etc., but that is all public domain
software.

No doubt I'm going to get flamed for this, but I'm looking for sources
for (ancient) commercial Apple II software to download, preferably
already cracked and in disk image format. There are literally
hundreds (thousands?) of sites like this for modern software, but I've
only run across one for older computers, and it focuses on games. My
interest is in tracing the evolution of software from the early days
of the PC through the present -- things like CAD software, database
software, development software, etc. and I'd like to start with a
platform I used to know well -- the Apple II.

A lot of seminal software was developed for the Apple II which has
been abandoned and was never released into the public domain. It
would be a shame if it disappeared completely from history due to a
misguided application of some country's copyright laws or otherwise.

If anyone has any pointers to online sources, they would be much
appreciated.
