That would be fantastic. I've found myself gravitating back towards
EDASM since it's scriptable. I would like to update the command
processor a little (to handle STARTUP parameters in particular)

I have a few ideas for merlin upgrades..

OK, I just uploaded the source trees for Merlin-8, v2.59 and
Merlin-16, v3.53, to the usual gmail account...

These include the source and object files for the full distribution.
