The ones I got from ReactiveMicro work fine. I didn't even have to shave them.

Even with the low profile ZIF, slot 3 is blocked. The ZipChip is simply too
high ... thats yet another reason why the Uthercard is perfect for slot 3 no
code to interfere with aux/slot 3 and it's physically small enough to not bump
up against the ZipChip.

The good news is that I was able to remove the old socket and install a low-profile ZIF socket without damaging the IIe. The bad news is that the ZipChip now acts stone dead when clamped into the socket :-(.

I'm going to wait until the weekend to start excavating into it. Nothing to lose at this point!
