Some time back a few years there was a thread on the Lan-Tech ELAN
network hardware.
I used to work at the place in PHX in the late 80's, FWIW.. if
there's any other questions.
One thing that may or may be of confusion, the host adapters that work
in the //e may not work in the IIgs. Some mods had to be done to the
cards depending on if they were going in a II+, //e or IIgs.
The II+ and IIgs were compatible with each other, though the mods were
slightly different. They worked in either/or. The //e OTOH did not
work in either of the other two.
The second card, the smaller one- goes in the slot where your printer
card would go. Thats for ProDOS so that the AROS III would load into
the SRAM on the card instead of sitting and eating up motherboard RAM,
making ProDOS be just a little less compatible than the other
networking products such as D-Card and OmniNet.
They were a big user of those Trustor and Sider drives, too.
