Useful if you have a JetDirect. These are common in a business
environment, but I suspect rare among the average Apple user.

What would be more generally useful is LPR and/or SAMBA printing
support. With either of those, you could print to the majority of
printers attached to a PC, whether it was running Windows, Linux or OS
X. Samba would be easier for the Windows user, but LPD cound be run on
Windows if necessary.

If you had nothing but a LaserWriter driver on the GS, you could still
print to most printers by running Ghostscript on the PC with the
attached printer. Considering Mac history, I'd guess that a Postscript
printer would also be the best supported option on the GS.
