Wow yes. With a free rifle, a freezer full of elk only costs about 20 cents
for the ammo and $40 for the hunting license. It's those darn $600 rifles
that ruin the economics of hunting. Of course Big 5 always has some
Mosin-Nagants or old Mausers for about $100. Hmmm. Hard times call for hard
measures. You can skip the license if you shoot and scoot with a "side hill
salmon."
You have given me something to think about. How much meat do you waste if you
freeze the whole thing and butcher with a chain saw?
